So I built a tank. When FUTURE STANDARD asked me to build them a tank for their first ever festival, I knew it was an opportunity I couldn't refuse. With less than two months to work, I quickly started looking for waste that could serve as the basis of the materials. I also knew there were technological and performance steps that I had to take into account.

At first I started experimenting with making the frame with bamboo. However, due to the fact that the majority of bamboo I found was already dry and not ideal for bending, I had to switch to a welded metal frame. For the covering I used waste mesh fabric that is used for green houses and recycled rope. I made the wheels from waste hose tubing. After I painted a groovy military pattern.

I am happy to say that EXCEPT for the metal frame and paint EVERYTHING else was waste.
